Great thread. I am likely in the age between you and your in laws. My wife and I have no parents left so it is pretty quiet in our house. No grandchildren yet. But you have to give thanks to your wife's parents for producing and raising a good daughter. Your time will come to be messy and loud if you so choose. I understand your rant though. I wanted to belt my father in law but I held back. Highly annoying man. I was one of the few son in laws he did not hit.
