I was fortunate to find a NOS part #3 (901.108.051.06) years ago since I believe they are now NLA. I can post a photo of the part if anyone is interested.
A better diagram showing how the carburetor fuel line routes to the fuel pump is shown in 1969 PET illustration 201-02 (part #26 in the diagram below).
