Congrats. I've been a granddad for about 6.5 months. It's funny, I don't feel like a granddad at 46. The little thing is pretty darned adorable though. We're pretty lucky. Our daughter works about 2 miles from where we live, so she drives in to work with him every day and grandma watches him during the day. I get to see him anywhere from 1-3 hours a day depending upon how our schedules overlap. The kids are my stepkids, so I never experienced the baby thing. This is a whole new experience for me.
