Will I melt the North Pole
For decades I raced from Annapolis to Washington at top speed to get to work. Six gallons a day for --- lots of gas.
Now, I feel guilty, but still I jacked up the A/F ratio five clicks because the car just runs better with more gas.
How bad is it. I have historic tags so I never go to the emiss. station but _ as I understand it- the M 20 is a sealed motor so the blow-by gets burnt up and my emiss. are clean.
The '89 325is has the original cat with straight pipes clamped to the back. But the '87 325is had a pirate exhaust when I got it - just a small muffler.
Both cars have been brought back from near death and run great if a bit cosmetically challenged. A cat for the '87 costs big money - a test of my environmentalism -
I can go to the emiss. station and get a reading but what am I looking for
