I'm going to guess that the "views" number is a function of "time logged in."

When you're logged in, a hotlink of your user name appears at the bottom of the forum you are logged into and bot computers noodling around on the forum click on your username.

For example, if RED-BEARD has a habit of logging in-out just to make posts, then that would be reflected in his high post count, low views.

If John Walker logs in at work for a lot of the day but only posts here and there, he would have a huge view count and a smaller post count.
