Hmmm. Seems to me that the scraping noise IS telling him it needs service.. but that's none of my business.
We have 2 silver vehicles now and it's great. Wifey took the FIL to another doctor visit today but they took his new Traverse. She left the Malibu at their house but apparently drove through every mud puddle on the way. Their driveway is dirt with a huge puddle right in the drive tracks, too. I always drive around it. Not her.
I took the car up to the DIY spray wash, wiped it down when I got back and it looks like new again. Glad I waxed it the day she brought it home.
