I had a friend who was a Tracker pilot in the Canadian navy. This happened many years ago. The Tracker was a twin engine high wing aircraft and was able to land on an aircraft carrier.

He was landing on the carrier in rough seas. As he was about to touch down the carrier pitched upwards, the aircraft hit hard and collapsed the landing gear. The two pilots walked away fortunately.
