I wasn't aware of this mod, but it makes sense. In Bruce Anderson's Performance Handbook, he doesn't have any CIS upgrades. His mindset (and probably correct) was to scrap the CIS and throw on Webbers. I'd love to do that, but 1990 ITB pricing was probably more reasonable.
I would love to see a "Definitive CIS performance Upgrade Thread" I would start it, but I know nothing.
I've heard discussion of ROW Fuel distributors, larger intake runners (you must have larger ports in the head - slippery slope) and now a larger TB from the 3.0 onto the 2.7.
I would love to hear Al, John and Tony's thoughts on this - though I think they would say, don't bother, save up for PMOs!
Interesting that a $150 upgrade (3.0 TB) might give a bit of a performance boost on the breathless stock 2.7.
