Pretty sure they used the same case. Pistons and cams would be different for a CIS.
What number is stamped on your MFI pump. Most rebuilders change the stamping to reflect the specification.
3.2 is really stretching the output of the pump. It would take more than the space cam to make it work smoothly throughout the rev range.
