Anyway, To get the fenders on I had to figure out the dry sump oiling /cooling system.
Like a 911R and later 911s, I wanted fender mounted coolers.
I think one fender mounted remote oil cooler will do the job considering the big 911 fan, dry sump tank, lines and 9-10 qts of oil capacity. I could always add a second cooler on the left side like an R if i need one in the future.
My friend Mike was telling me about this kool feature of a 1950 Pontiac: a retracting fuel filler cap.. so that's what my dry sump tank will do [will pivot] to make removing the tiny vintage Blau cap easy. I found the correct filler neck bung through a military suplier.
For the hard oil lines I've fabricated, I'll adapt NPT thread to AN (3/4" to -12)
