Success! I loosened the fitting on the LHS of the crankcase and was able to move the oil line. I fabricated a strap with holes 3/4" apart and relocated the Adel clamp one stud further to the left on the RHS chain housing a la Jeff NJ's picture.

I have about 1/8" space between the oil line and both the exhaust and the block. I'll keep an eye on it and if I see it beating itself on either I'll replace with either the backdated line or I'll make up some custom line.
