I can finally see the last page!! Granted, there aren't any dogs on it.
Sounds to me like ZuZu needed more attention. Hopefully, she'll be better off someplace else.
Years ago, a family with a young 12-14 yo daughter and maybe a younger brother got a young German Shepherd. It used to "escape" their fenced in back yard (decent sized back yard). I think they lived about 4-5 houses down the street. I remember being outside and hearing the father yelling something like "get back here you damn dog, blah, blah blah." I was thinking "Yeah bud (talking to the dog), I'd want to leave too." I remember another time, we had the front and back doors of the house propped open because we were carrying stuff through the house to the back yard, and we were in the kitchen when that dog came trotting into the kitchen happy as can be, tail wagging. Cute, very sweet thing. Another time, I'm in the driveway working on something and I hear the the young daughter yelling "get back here you stupid dog." The dog ran straight up to me and sat down. I'm sure this was just me, but I swear he had this look, like "please let me stay here. Don't make me go back." It also made me think which one of you is stupid, the dog, or the people that can't hold onto their dog. I'd have loved to have kept the dog.
