I like how the ballon tires pick up the curves in the fenders and the strakes on the wheels tie in to the grill slits.

That's where people can never agree on which wheels go on an a fleet side Apache. There are already too many competing things going on with the body, let alone the wheels. I can't look at other trucks for inspiration, I have to look at cadillacs.

The early trucks like yours are more forgiving in that they steer you easily towards what works.

I love it!
( and I love that your truck, built before there were highways is getting gearing suspension and power to survive on today's roads.)
