The ridgeline was developed off the honda pilot which is a CAR.
Hopefully they changed a few things.

We had a honda pilot. I towed our waverunners with it.
Bad move.
The rear electronic differential is NOT sealed or as least not vented high enough.
Launching the waverunner filled the rear diff with water causing it to fail.

Something honda was reluctant to warranty. They told me never to get the rear wheels wet again or it would not be under warranty the next time.
That’s the same differential you have to change the oil in every year and the special oil costs $80 a gallon!

Like i said, I hope they changed some things.

I personally would NOT consider a honda, any honda for towing a boat.
