OK Tabs,
I have a sicker sense of humour than most, I enjoy a lot of your posts and see the humour, sometimes subtle, sometimes not

But now it's:
Coeliac or if you prefer, Celiac awareness time.
In simplistic terms a gluten allergy or intolerance, or a chronic inability to digest certain foods.
No big deal you say. Just don't eat the bread and pasta in the restaurant you say. Well it depends how badly you have it. I have a client who didn't have it properly diagnosed, in his case it triggered diabetes and thyroid problems.
My ex, S

, started with an intolerance to gluten and now has an ever increasing list of foods she's allergic too.
S

is also a prime candidate for a stomach tumour. And, just to make it even more fun, it's not enough to watch what she eats; she also has to be fanatical about preparation. No flour around to contaminate the food. Easy enough in one's own home, but what about in restaurants and others homes'especially when they don't understand or won't take it seriously.
Puts a bit of a crimp in one's social life, also difficult if one needs to socialise with clients as she often has too.
And what happens when S

does mistakenly eat problem foods: everything from mild to strong stomach pains to nausea and violent vomiting that can go on for days and these are only edited highlights
