Vash - I'll offer the dissenting opinion: If you know you have a potential problem from past experience with gambling, then please politely decline. Offer a truthful explanation if you think you can do so without creating trouble for yourself (not everybody will understand and some may become judgmental). Sacrificing your well-being to help climb the corporate ladder isn't worth it.
