The condition of every engine is different. So he makes no blanket statements that he will guarantee a certain number HP increase. Except for the Cup chips he says you can expect up to 300 HP with a 26/8 or you can expect up to 270 HP with a 26/6. He simply says to expect a 10 to 15% increase in power over what you have now. Some cars have 200k miles on them with bad compression, so he can't say " My chip will give you a 20 HP increase" People who make those kind of statements either don't know what they are talking about or they just want to tell you what you want to hear so they can take your money. Or they dynoed their car with a low mileage engine and those were the results for that particular car.
