Well if it's old electronics you're worried about, doesn't Rogue make essentially-new ECUs using just a handful of the original components?

I can't really back this up with real-world experience, but it certainly seems as though a MAF conversion is going to be your best bang for your buck as far as modifications go - that is, modifications that don't necessitate opening up the motor or risking destruction with forced induction.

It sounds cheesy, but power really isn't everything; you're never going to blow the doors off of... well, anything, really, and your cheeks might get flushed any time you're asked how much power you're putting to the ground, but the 944 is exactly fast enough for street driving, and gives a great sensation of speed and immaculate handling.

Plus, you get brownie/cool points for keeping an underappreciated classic on the road. ;-)
