They both sound like great cars.
I would buy the one you enjoy driving the most.
I think the investment potential is about the same between those to cars, leaning to the SC for better appreciation in my view.

I look at the middies as the 911 version of a 356B, Porsche comes out with the updated body first and then updates the engine on the latter cars.
In todays world it would be better the other way around, the old look with the new engine, since the older look is most prized in vintage cars by todays drivers.
