If it is wired simply as an 'aux' input on the stereo (i.e. the stereo just plays music but cannot skip tracks or display names) then you can get a cheap 3.5mm ti female iPod connector adapter to play any music into this from anything with a headphone jack.
But if it has actual digital iPod integration, it is looking for an old iPod to connect to.

CDR 24. That would be neat. I will look for a connector on line. Not a big deal but I have been wondering what it is for nearly 2 years.
