I just had a bare metal, windows out, doors off re-spray with Glasurit single stage 3 coats. Paint was 1700.00. I took car apart and will put back together. A good friend who owns a shop did it for 5K. Catch was, it was going to take awhile (10 months). Another 911 came in months later after mine and guy was charged 15K, body shop has to take apart and re-assemble, not using Glasurit.
Even if you think your panels are straight, there is more body work that's always necessary, to make things perfect.
