I drove it out of storage.
Charged the battery.
Took it to a mechanic to get a roadworthy certificate.
Received a long list of things which needed doing to make it roadworthy.
Bought a Cobra race seat and installed it (needed to reupholster the original seat, this was quicker).
Ordered a couple of grand of parts from PP (ok, this included a Sharkwerks x muffler for my 997.2 but don't tell the wife).
Washed and cut&polished the car, vacuumed inside.
Removed the not-working rear left seat belt.
Installed a new after market seat belt.
Removed the after market seat belt because it's the wrong type.
Got some new track rubber on the rims.
Added some oil, by the state of the driveway it needs it.
Added some coolant.
Went for a short drive and noticed the engine temp gauge hadn't moved, returned home and found the radiator fans weren't working either.
Smacked my head on the door frame and hurt my neck.
Posted a call for help on this forum about the temp gauge/rad fan.
Tomorrow I'm going fly fishing with a mate. He's driving...
