Hmmm, not so sure.
Carfax gets their info from ins co's.
The dealer would have to claim it and their policy is not going to be a standard auto policy like you and I have. It would cover the business.
Their out of pocket is going to be the parts making it unlikely worth claiming.
They can eat the labor, it's not really an expense or lost revenue anyway.
