I have been building my small 20'x20' garage in my backyard over the last 2.5 years. It is my dedicated work/play space and I love being able to spend time in there. It is fairly unique in that is has a raised planter bed garden on the roof, uses salvaged steel sash industrial windows, repurposed 1950's steel kitchen cabinets for my work bench, and lots of other fun details. I've been having as much fun designing, sourcing materials and building it as I do working on and driving my 911's.
