That's getting too hot there in that Alice Springs place!

Went to the grocery store and the Cayenne got around real well. Snow was staying on the main streets more than it usually does, but wasn't very slickery. Guess we didn't have the usual coating of ice before the snow started.

It is amazing what some pop corn with generous amounts of Garlic Salt and Cayenne Pepper does for a runny nose with coughing and sore throat.
Especially when followed by a few slices of French bread generously butter, garlic powder, and cayenne peppered, followed by some mozzarella cheese and a couple slices of pepperoni and melted/toasted in the toaster oven. Better than any of the cold and sinus remedies I've been using for the past 4 days. Almost symptomless.

The problem I have with them smog tests...
with sport cats my car would pass the actual sniffer levels with no problems, but with stock cats and air pump gone it would fail visual just because it is not stock. That is just wrong.

When I had my 81 GMC Jimmy, I replaced the 305 ci with a 400 ci out of a 78 Monte Carlo. Because the motor was 79 or older I did not have to keep all the emissions stuff that was on the 81 305. I did have to take it to a shop that the guy came out and read the serial number off the block, then gave me a certificate exempting it from emissions. Costed $5.
