It's really interesting to see everyone's opinions on this.
Being one of the marked, I have to say that I love my tattoos, and I love tattoos on other people, as long as they're well done and have some meaning for the wearer.
I have a large piece across my chest, a piece on my left shoulder, and a small kanji symbol on the small of my back.
The questions I get most frequently are:
"Did that hurt?" Yep.
"Don't you think you'll regret that when you're 80?" I would love to be a bad-a** tattooed granny. I am not ashamed of my tattoos, nor do I regret them. Is it possible that I could regret them when I'm 80? Yes. But you know what, if you live your whole life not doing things because there's a remote chance you'll regret them when you're 80, then your life is gonna be pretty darn boring.
And to those who say that tattoos are only worn by bimbos or meatheads, I proudly wave my Mensa card and say "THHHHHHPT!"
Cheers,
Aggie
