Unless you were there and made some studies on your own, the people who "supposedly study these things and know better," are where you got every bit of factual information you know about them. If it's not true where did you get the information that it's not true, some movie? No, it came from the people who actually study these things. Dreamers and charlatans may have concocted stories about the mummies, don't listen to them.

Well, duh. There aren't many pre-literate humans still around to tell how it was back in the old days with sign language, so the history we know is what was written. Written language actually
started about 3000 - 3500 BC. Maybe those academics who "supposedly study these things and know the better" have been lying to you again. Funny it's only you that they choose to mislead.
