I used diluted purple power to clean the stains in my headliner up. Mine were mostly around the lights, from decades of finger grease. Sprayed on a cloth with some gentle scrubbing, I got about 75% off with no damage to the headliner. I didn't feel comfortable scrubbing harder than that, for fear of damaging the headliner which was otherwise in almost perfect condition, so I decided to leave well enough alone. I was happy with it.
