i live in Sonoma Wine country. just moved here (relatively). my first full winter for sure. i hung a rain gauge at work friday and this morning..damn near 4" of rain over the weekend. creeks are swollen, and the big river near us is cresting 38' at noon today. i think the banks are 32'?

my back sliding door has a leak at the top. i stapled up some plastic sheet and it was an awesome temp fix. dry as a bone in the house. the outside, looks like all the trees puked.

they closed schools this morning. wow. i need to find my way near bodega bay to check on one of our problem sections of HWY1. it is sliding somewhat.

i feel our CA drought is gonna be over soon. at least for NorCAL.
