After 16 plus years and literally hundreds of 911 based air-cooled engines assembled using Dow 55 o-ring lubricant, we have had zero reported instances of case leaks due to o-ring failure. Over the past few years of selling our case sealing kit through our host, Pelican Parts, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
As a matter of fact, we are sending out a stock order for sealing kits today.
