Not too difficult. Some quality metal cutting blades in a reciprocating saw starting at a pilot hole worked. On the door, I left tabs along the sides that were bent over 90° that lined up with the hinges and door strike. The door frame then slid in between these. They were then drilled and tapped to secure the metal door. This was all to create sort of an above ground storm shelter. Fortunately we don't get too many F5 tornadoes in these parts or the five foot deep concrete corner pilings would probably get jerked out of the ground. Hope I never have to test it.
On the small windows, I just bolted the aluminum frame to the inside of the cut out then framed it with flashing and wood strip and sealed on the outside.
The inside before furniture and the screen wall.
