Funny, I just bought a fairly new used car and the dealer described it as a theft recovery.
Later he said they get a lot of "container cars."
Im not concerned about the car, I'm concerned that so many late model vehicles are ending up in containers and shipped out of the country!
This ship apparently had been turned back from its destination and arrived in Canada with the containers still full and the police had a hayday.
As of last week, I am now a bit rattled.
Since I do not live in California where I hear about all of the vintage 911 thefts occurring, I was never concerned about mine way out here, but now I'm a bit rattled. If they steal modern vehicles with modern security systems, I'm now a bit concerned about my less secure vintage car.
