Over the past few days, I have installed the flywheel, clutch and bell housing. I also installed the newly-rebuilt (and painted!) torque tube.

Also, as this is a conversion from automatic to manual, I looked into installing the clutch master cylinder. At first it looked like there was solid sheet metal at the mounting point. I was thinking about how I was going to get a hole saw in the right position as I used a screwdriver inside the car to poke at the firewall. I was very happy to find that the hole is already there, it was only covered with insulation.

Next steps: get the wiring to the starter into position, finish up the clutch hydraulics installation, replace the fuel lines and hoses, and install the rear suspension.
