I've got Fikse Fuchs, though they were Zuffenhaus when I bought them back in 2009/10.
I gotta say I really love them, but I paid lots less as I was kind of an early adopter.
However, I ran into a bit of a problem with them last year. A crack formed from bolt to bolt to bolt around much of the back half of one of my rear wheels. After I got it back from repair, I experienced the same thing on the other wheel about 2000 km (1200 miles) later. They had about 50 000 km (30 000 miles) on them when this all happened. I find it odd that both rear wheels failed so close to each other in miles with no real explanation of what the reason likely was.
Regardless of all that, the wheels have been redesigned a few years ago to more closely align with the existing Fikse product line. As I understand, many of the parts like the rear barrels are the same across the whole product line to ease production and stocking of parts. I expect this sort of problem like I had is unlikely to happen on anything made in the last few years.
Even with this issue I had, if I was looking for new wheels and I had the scratch, I'd probably get the Fikses.
