Well, I rebuilt a 2.7 and am not sure that any advice I've got would be applicable to a 3.2.
One resource that I did make use of prior to the rebuild was to review the price list at Ollie's Machine:

I found this to be a nice list of services that I didn't necessarily know about. If nothing else, look at the list of services just to get an idea of what's available and relative cost.
