There is quite a difference between buying a $35,000 car sight unseen to a $100,000+ car sight unseen.
That simply.

agree,
I never sell a car sight unseen or not driven. Just too many variables / misinterpretations / perceptions possible of the buyers or mine. I do buy without one but usually I know how to get the info I need to make a good decision. Many buyers ( except some dealers or flippers ) have little idea how to get it right and usually want to pay less to cover their butts. Once they see it in person / drive it and have it inspected many realize my, what it takes, reasonable and to stop worrying about potential problems that do not exist. Usually a serious keeper buyer wants to see/drive inspect. I'll leave the others ( flippers/ dealers, buyers ) for someone else. Also at auction these advantages of driving, professional inspection etc aren't available before purchase. So even if in the heat of the moment bidding at auction many would have bid more if they had more confidence in what they were getting.
