Also, everything in Engineering in this country is done in Metric, it’s pretty much just stuff sold to the public that’s still referred to in Imperial.
The UK seems to do OK with everything in Metric except speed in mph, why can’t we go that way too?

Everything in engineering is NOT metric in this country.
Some is, quite a bit is not!
Almost NONE of what i work with as an engineer is metric.
Some US industries are like that. .
