I am very new to the Porsche world. I am interested in purchasing my 1st. I have found a few 944's in my area and 1 928. I wanted to know how large the power & speed difference is between the two models. What was the OEM tire on the 944 Circa 1987.

I also have several questions in regards to the 928. It is a 1986 the body and undercarriage look very good. The interior is pretty rough, and it has some problems with the electrical system 1)the battery keeps draining and 2) the drivers power seat won't move forward or back. It does move up and down. In addition the exhaust has been replaced with a freeflow (sound pretty good). The air conditioning has been removed. There are 115K miles on it and the asking price is $11,995. With all of the problems I want to know if I should walk from this car, offer a much reduced price, or go with a 944S. Can't find a turbo to drive. Any ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated.
