My wife asks on occasion when I might get a new car. Anything I want is just stupid expensive and will be just like a thousand or many thousands of other people have. It is a rare week that someone does not compliment the Elky or ask about it.
Cars are a hobby of mine. I can ALWAYS go to the garage and find a project to tinker on a car. The Porsche or the Elky always have some minor or sometimes major thing to fix.
I even remember thinking this weekend how neat it is to just go to the tool box and grab the weird tool and common tool and not have to go buy a tool. To have a nice garage with a heater so I could work in a t-shirt and not have to wear a cost, a bathroom just feet away. And get a frosty wheat pop from the fridge and rock out to Pandora on my laptop hooked to a nice set of speakers.
Having a lift is just a double bonus.
I can see that advantage of a new car and just letting someone else do the routine maintenance. My wife's Infinity has had nothing but routine maintenance with the exception of one light bulb, and two batteries since 2008. I hope the Macan does that good.
