If the secondary ICU (ignition control unit) and coil work, then the problem is in the main ICU and coil circuit.
The firing signal only comes from one pin on the DME to both the main and secondary ICU. So it cannot be a missing firing signal.
It could be a bad main plug/wiring or a bad main ICU. Swap the main and secondary coils too to confirm.
