Hi, for sale is a recently rebuilt 914 engine with 2.2 displacement. This engine was removed from its 912 home due to smoking from bad valve seals. I have scoped all the cylinders and they are very fresh, they still have the hone on the bores. There is no scoring which leads me to believe the rings are still fine. I little head work should have this engine back to top shape. When we had it together it ran a little rough because the carbs needed a tune, but still made a lot of power and torque, and a really nice sound. Included in the sale are the attached Weber IDF44s, tin in great shape, ignition and throttle linkage. Asking $1500.
Also for sale is this super high end handmade Tangerine Racing EVO exhaust, in coated mild steel with a removable aluminum heat exchanger. This unit is in excellent shape. It was made years ago to the tune of $2200 and has been on the car since, and has a brilliant smooth finish, showcasing its durability. The muffler, also a Tangerine unit, is in beautiful polished stainless steel and is in excellent condition. These parts fit a 912 perfectly, with the muffler tucking neatly into an early car's rear bumper, and exiting out the driver side. Asking $1500
