The biggest cylinder bore you can have on a 3.2L block is 102mm, as opposed to the 964/993 block that you can have 105mm. The bolt spacing for the cylinders are different than the 964/993 engines. So the biggest displacement you can have with a 76.4mm crank is 3,746cc, or close to 3.8L. However, if you stroke the crank or get a GT3 4.0L 80,4mm crank, you can build a motor close to 4 liters.
As for the oil pump, you should NOT machine the pump itself, but you would need to do some machining of the case/block.
