Just for the record,.....cooling has nothing to do with cross-drilling.

The reason for cross-drilling the center main journal is to improve oil volume to the center two rod journals: #2 and #5. These are the last parts of the engine to receive oil and tend to starve at high RPM. Further, the center main bearing needs to be modified and its oil feed hole in the case should be enlarged.

The GT3 cranks do NOT need cross-drilling.
