I was once charged duty for some wheels 'made in germany' when bringing them across the border myself, but I think that was an isolated case and a bored CBSA officer.
I bring a LOT of stuff across from my drop box on the US side and have never had this happen.
if CBSA starts looking into Pelican orders for non Free Trade dutiable items made overseas, it's really gonna change the game.
Kennethg, I've imported several cars, including Porsches, and Japanese motorcycles and never paid duty. just the BC sales tax and GST.
