Door dings
I have a 1991 535i and it has been a great car except it has been extremely prone to getting door dings. There is a ridge in the sheet metal at the top of the door that projects beyond the protective strip mounted lower on the door.
Now I am looking at buying a 540i, 99, 2000 or 2001 and I am wondering if they have the same problem.
What has been your experience?
