I pretty much stopped shooting my Ruger Mark II over the past few years. After I shot through a brick of 550 (that I paid $8 for sometime prior to the shortage), I just didn't buy it much. That means I paid less than 1.5¢ per round something like 6 years ago. I think it's more like 9¢ per round right now. That means that 22LR has gone up in price 600%. .223 has gone up more like 50% during the same period.
