That ain't gonna happen. Shipping it to Hawaii just to drive it around is crazy. A friend of mine lives in Anchorage. He drives his 1985 Carrera down to PCA Porsche Parade every year. He even drove it to Savannah, GA.
The Alcan highway is still many miles of gravel and unpaved roads. I am not gonna do that. So my goal is just the contiguous 48 and Canada for an international trip. I would never consider going to Mexico either.
I have been to Hawaii and Alaska, but I was not driving my Porsche.
