I'm doing this exact same job and was looking for my, erm, "G-spot" the other day. This is a 1976 911S and I found plastic bungs in those corner positions of the floor pan. When I pulled the plug, the holes were threaded, as below.
Looking at the workshop manual, it looks like these points were only introduced in
1975.
