That was a long night. We went to a nice dinner at my wife's favorite restaurant and then drove and hour and a half to see the play my friend is in. It was awesome and funnier than all get out.
It was almost 10:30 when we left there to drive another 45 minutes to the club where my drummer bud was playing. We drove through and saw that people were standing outside, waiting to get in. We decided to keep going. As much as I wanted to check out the band, I knew that the wife wanted to be home.
I couldn't tell you the last time we were both awake after midnight. Yeah, we lead an exciting life.
