Oops- misread the question. This does confirm the answer is the same.
Let us say, just to keep the math easy- that one spoonful was 50%. The amount taken should not change the math.
So you start off with 100 units of milk and 100 units of coffee.
Take out 50% of the milk and add it to the coffee.
You now have 50 units of milk, and 150 units of coffee/milk mixture.
Now take out 50 units of the coffee/milk mixture.
That is 1/3 of the new volume
16.67 units of milk (1/3 of the 50units of milk), and 33.33 units of coffee ( 1/3 of the 100 units of coffee).
You are left with 100units of milk/coffee. 66.66 units of coffee and 33.33 units of milk.
When you add the 50 units of coffee/milk mixture to the original 50 units of milk-
You would have- 33.33 units of coffee and 66.67 units of milk.
